Affiliate Disclosure

The short version: AnnoyingBot earns affiliate commissions. Many of the outbound links to tools — proxies, scraping APIs, automation platforms, servers, VPNs — are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, we get paid a commission, at no extra cost to you. You never pay more because you came through us.

Where the money comes from

This site recommends paid developer tools. Those recommendations are monetized through affiliate and partner programs, either directly with the vendor or through networks like Impact, PartnerStack and CJ Affiliate. Depending on the program, we earn a one-time bounty when you sign up, a percentage of your first payment, or a recurring share for as long as you stay subscribed.

What that changes for you: nothing on price

An affiliate link costs you the same as typing the vendor's domain by hand. Sometimes it costs you less, because affiliate arrangements occasionally come with a discount or an extended trial, in which case we'll say so at the link.

What it does not change: the editorial line

The commission does not decide the ranking. We list tools we would deploy on our own infrastructure, and the order in a comparison reflects what fits the job, not what pays the most. When a free or open-source option is the right answer, we say that too — even when it earns us nothing. A recommendation that only exists because of the payout is worthless to a reader who can smell it, which makes it worthless to us.

How affiliate links are marked

Outbound affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" and open in a new tab. Every article that contains them shows a disclosure near the top, and this page is linked in the footer of every page on the site. If a link goes to a tool that pays us, assume it is an affiliate link.

Amazon & other programs

Where applicable, AnnoyingBot participates in various vendor and marketplace affiliate programs. Trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners; we are not affiliated with those companies beyond the affiliate relationship described here.
